I googled Disney world free dining and it was about the third one on the page. Dates match what was rumored. I really wish it would open tonight just to get it booked!!

There's a link on google popping up now that says Free dining plan with vacation package. Only dates listed are "most nights August 21 through December 23 2017."

I see it.. when you hit the link "special offer not available" pops up, but the preview does say most nights from 8.21-12.23. Hope it drops tonight!! I am off tomorrow!!!!!

For those relying on http://www.distripplanner.com/ for exact meal calculations, be mindful not all have been accurate. The site is a nice tool and I'm not too worried about it, but I thought I'd give a heads up here.

Example: I booked CRT for 5 Adults/2 kids - total cost is $489.32.
the website shows the same at a total of $465.67.

Yeah I don't think it's updating. But if it says free dining works for you then it would even be more so since food is higher.

No only a few places available for my dates- Campground, AK-Jambo, GFV, and maybe one other. All the expensive ones and the campgrounds.

Is that taking into account the seasonal change in prices? It has a range for buffets/set price because it's cheaper at some times of the year than others.

I don't know if this is true as fact. But I just asked why the dis didn't list the buffet price by dates anymore in that thread and was told it no longer varies per season.

Our dates have been like that for a couple weeks. Fortunately we are booked already at rack rate since our dates are fixed. FD probably wont help us, but a RO discount would be nice.
