Yeah I knew WDW site wouldn't allow but am no expert on the infant thing so I bowed out. When my kids were under 3 we stayed off site.

CHH. Had this for the first on last trip. It's kind of tucked and I had never noticed it before. It was really good QS and different. I had the fried shrimp.

The food is really good at Liberty Tree Tavern but I love the atmosphere at Crystal Palace (and the characters)!

I have a question and would love some advice on it. I am also stalking this thread and hoping for the best on FD. This is the first year I have used a TA too, usually I plan everything and I am fanatical about it. We are staying at CBR for 10 nights with 2 rooms. In one room only 2 adults and other is 2 adults and 17 & 10 year daughters. We requested adjoining rooms because the other two adults are my children too. If the rumors are true and the mod's only get QS would it be a good idea to upgrade only the room with the 2 adults to the deluxe since we have at the least 36 TS we want and most would be 48. I figure if we can do that it would save us over $500 rather than upgrading everyone to the DDP. I have figured we will have more than enough QS meals to last all 6 of us as well.

Does this sound like a good plan to anyone and am I right in that the meals from the deluxe can be used as TS for all 6 of us? Just trying to get this straight in my head before I contact my TA so I don't sound like a crazy loon! LOL

I would go with Crystal Palace. I have that planned early on our MNSSHP night and figured seeing some characters would be a great pre-party warm up. In all fairness though, I have never been to Liberty Tree. I do like CP's selections though, especially for vegetarians. (Not that that probably applies to you, but just throwing it out there!)

I booked CBR for end of October. I booked a package with dining while they were still offering the gift card promo. I will probably keep it and change dates to get free dining. Even if I only get QS, I'll have the $75 a night cards for TS.

You can definitely use the deluxe meal credits for anyone at the table. Doesn't matter if they are in your room or not.

Yes, you can get DxDP for one room and use the credits for everyone. Remember though that those credits will only be on the two magic bands in that room so one of the two of you (or your band) will always have to be present to use those credits (just mentioning in case anyone runs off to get quick service separately). For 2 people at 10 nights, you're looking at 60 credits that can be used for TS or QS, 40 snacks, and 2 mugs and the upgrade cost (if you get free QS) is $1169.80. If you get a room discount for the other room, depending on room cost and discount percent, you're probably looking at around $500 savings there.

Edited above cost for upgrading plan. I previously only did to regular DDP, now I have from QS to DxDP.
