I have a split-stay question. We're arriving Nov. 12th for a week. If the free dining starts Nov. 14, I think we can potentially change to a split stay to get free dining from the 14th on, correct? When would those credits become available if we check in online in advance for the second stay? Just wondering if we have to physically check in to the 2nd resort before our credits become active.
Thanks for the help, everyone! And woo-hoo for the latest rumors! :goofy:

It's really going to suck if POR isn't included. We are planning a family vacation and that was the resorthird my sister chose. I don't want to stay at CBR with all that construction going onowhere and we can't afford deluxe. We may have to cancel altogether.

I was searching and I think this is the 2016, FD Brazilian offer........

If this is last year's Brazilian deal it looks like they had QS at value resorts admission TS at moderates. :crazy2:

Those dates and times are from last year on mousesavers. Now to me, the dates released today seem to match up with in a day or two with last years.
August 13 to September 30
November 14-20, 25-27
December 8-23
Looks like it was blacked out all of OCT last year too.

I guess I am doing POP and upgrading to the DDP... was worried about paying the extra $$ for a MOD, but they are making the decision for me!
Right, I can't see paying extra for very limited moderate rooms just to have to upgrade to TS anyway. Sad, I was really looking forward to trying POR this year.

If it is quick service for mods this year, we will probably stay offsite. The cost of upgrading to the regular DDP, on top of the rack rate for a mod, the park hopper tickets, plus the 35% Canadian dollar exchange rate, will price us out of the trip otherwise.

I hear you. I love to stay on property but if you really compare rooms, we can get much bigger rooms with more beds and even a kitchen for the price of Disney value. I'm too frugal to give Disney my money for that much less.

Well these dates are disappointing. We needed the 1st day to be Nov 13th . The 4 day ticket minimum also would not work out as it would have been a split stay. This Canadian is hoping for a room discount now. Our group of 7, 3 rooms also have the CBR G/C 75$ offer but with the exchange rate are desperate for even more discounts. Good luck to everyone else on taking advantage of FD! Let's hope my next trip in 2020 I can finally experience FD. Seeing how positive everyone is, let's all wish for some Room discounts for our fellow travellers!
I can only hope that the room discounts start on Monday NOV 13th (weekend blocked out for Food and Wine only) and can be combined with the GC at CBR. A big savings of 169.60 per room which would be 20% off to match last falls room discount. Could do alot with that money.

If this is what Disney is offering I don't think we will stay on site. I also don't think I am renewing my annual passes. Disney is just getting to expensive for us. There are just to many other places to see and I can stay twice as long and spend the same amount of money.

We feel the same but don't have the CAD problem, we have a height problem! My DBF is 6'4" and does not fit in a double bed when we share (there would be a 3rd adult, so DBF and I would share). For 1 or 2 nights that wouldn't be so bad, but 6nights would be a problem.

I did the math a while back and for us room discount + DDP + the 25% off Canadian tickets that are available right now added up to more of a discount than free dining. Then we discovered we had enough AirMiles for one ticket (since they also have the 25% off deal applied to # of miles needed right now). Definitely getting more of a deal than free dining with that, and I don't have to stress about getting up a 3AM.
