I have another 1/2 Sunday that I hope will predict me a under 6 hour finish time. Right now I have a 6 hour 6 min finish predicted. Should I wait till after Sunday to register. I'm doing the marathon only.

That's more than DVC, and I wish I'd known the secret code when I signed up this morning. Oh well. $5 bucks lost - at least I'm in, and I have to worry about running nearly 50 miles in 4 days instead of getting signed up to run the nearly 50 miles in 4 days.

Never got one, so I called the member center.

Dang... I hit the first button on the list and am now on my way to Dopeyville.



I did phone this AM to confirm that I would preserve the Perfectly Goofy status as a Dopey runner. I knew the answer and for sure I will.


It seems like the race will have about 6,000 Dopey runners this year. This is in addition to the 10,000 Goofies. That leaves fewer spots for the folks who are ‘just’ running the half or full. Keep an eye out for the counters to pop up rather fast this year. Also look to a slightly fewer registrations in 2014. No word on how many, just a slight slip during the conversation. I would expect the caps to be in the 23k range, not the 25k or 2013.

Also, look for additional corral slots in 2014. They hope with the new time proof requirements and with the additional corrals to lower congestion in the race.

Hey,

Just called runDisney about the 10K confirmation date I received of Saturday, Jan. 11.
It IS an error....10k is Friday, Jan 10!!
