They were still waterlogged from the week before....It used to be that Auburn fans never left before the game was done, win or lose, however, us diehard fans are a dying breed. I don't leave before the game is done, win or lose. That might be because I always had to stay past the end of the game in college, but as a grad, I stay by choice.

I am not a fan of spotting points to teams and really wish ours would stop. Here is to hoping the Tennessee game will be an exciting one this coming weekend! (and that everyone is healthy again)

Great win by USF, I harbor no ill will towards the university. I know quite a few of their grads, and only get mad at them when they lose to Buttgers.....

An LSU fan here. Have been lurking all week. I have also enjoyed TCD's pics of the Florida game. Sure hope that Tebow is ready to go when Gators travel to Baton Rouge as we are going to the game and I want to see him play! Here's hoping that LSU plays a good game against Georgia on Saturday. That heart stopping thriller against Miss. St. was so nerve wracking!! Good luck to everyone this weekend. Love college football and WDW!!

It's Friday!!! and tomorrow is another great day of college football!!

Yes, indeed! I want to see:

Alabama v. Kentucky (will Bama be up by 31 after the first quarter?)

Auburn v. Tennessee (I say War Eagle on this one, too)

LSU v. Georgia (the Gators play both of them this month-got to check out the competition)

MSU v. Georgia Tech. (SEC v. ACC) MSU almost beat LSU last week. Are they for real? The Gators play them on 10/24. Go MSU! Represent the SEC!

And, outside the SEC, Oklahoma at Miami should be good. This game will tell us which of these teams is for real. Unless Stoops is lying, it looks like OU will play without their star QB. My gut is telling me that OU will win this one. And, I hope they do. Then I will not hear anything more from Miami fan for the rest of the season.

And, I wonder what FSU will do at Boston College? I haven't seen BC play yet this season, but I have seen FSU play every game. Will FSU show up?

This weekend will tell us a lot.

TCD, There is only one team to watch this season, The Texas Longhorns! We have off this week-end but next week will play OU who I am sorry hope loses this week-end! Watch out Gators we may be the one to see you in a bowl game this year. Now off to a high school game to watch my daughter in drill team!

Ok! After a sloppy first half, the USF Bulls prevailed over Syracuse. Now can enjoy the rest of the games. Rooting for FSU to help us in the BCS strength of schedule bologna.

Alabama showed up against Kentucky 38-20 although after the Tebow scare last week I'm a little surprised the starters played the entire game.

Oh well, let's see what shakes out this afternoon and tonight. Next week the Tide goes to Ole Miss!

Just walked in the door from a 10 hour drive home. One week at the Fort (Wow, we LOVED it!) and one week with family in NE Florida. Got the radio turned on to listen to the game 'cause we don't have cable. I hope I can stay awake 'til the end...I'm exhausted. May the best team win.

Let me be the first to congratulate Auburn. Tennesse has done it again...lose. I am thinking I can get some cheap (or even free) tickets to next week's game.

Congrats to Auburn and USF on joining the ranks of the top 25! SC too. All three of them belonged there last week, so it's about time.

There are now 6 SEC teams in the top 25, and again three of the top four are SEC schools!

What in the heck is Oklahoma still doing ranked in the top 25? If a two loss team belongs in the top 25, it should be Georgia, not Oklahoma. Look who Georgia lost to compared to who Oklahoma lost to.

And what in the heck is Boise State doing in the top ten? Get real! Auburn and/or USF would shred that team!

Man, I wish Miami had not beaten Oklahoma. The Miami fans, who were thankfully quiet all of last week after their team was spanked by Va. Tech, are back at it again already. Talking about the National Championship! Oy!

There are some big games coming up this week.

Welcome to Baton Rouge. The LSU campus will be packed with tailgaters!! I know lots of people who are going to the game and do not have tickets to actually go into the stadium. Unfortunately, it calls for rain that day. Personally, I hate it when it's Gameday and TV cameras are everywhere. Sure hope Tebow plays and that the best team wins. Love college football and WDW.

Karen, I actually thought of driving over (from Lafayette) on game day just to watch the craziness. I just love watching the team and the Golden Band march down the hill! Last two times I did that, I was back home before before kickoff to watch the game!

Unless you have a motorhome with a big screen tv to allow sitting under an awning and watching the game??
