Lav passed Teddy the gravy "I actually enjoy history of magic" she replied, "in the muggle world we don't have ghosts"

George finished his lunch early and went to the library to get a book about Snowdrons to help with his Herbology essay and then went up to the Common Room to finish writing his essay. The bell went and he grabbed a few things he would need for History of Magic.

Neville had finished his Herbology essay as he heard the bell ring. He stood up gathering up the things he would need for History of Magic. He didn't particulary enjoy the class but anything was better then Potions or DADA. Neville stood up and began to walking to class.

On the way to their History of magic lesson, they saw that it was still snowing, gently outside. As they walked through the freezing corridoors, all the students were talking about who was staying at Hogwarts over Christmas, because Professer Mogonogal went around the Griffindoor students asking who was staying. Most of the older students were going home to see their family, but a lot of the first years wern't. Cho explained to Harry and George why she was staying at Howarts over the holidays. Cho said it was because her parents were going to see her Gradmother and she doesn't have any brothers or sisters to go to.

Did Neville leave? Oh well...I'm just going to say he didn't.


"I doubt I'll be going back. My grandmother is visiting her cousin." Neville said as he met Harry, Cho, George and the rest of his friends on his way to class. He held tighter on his jacket trying to keep himself warm. "I'd rather stay here anyway." Neville said.

 

[Tora Millypoops]

"I'd rather be staying here too" replyed Cho. "I've never seen snow around Chritmas before. It will be just like the movies." They stood outside of their History of Magic classroom, waiting for the teacher to invite them in. All the students were still huddled in their little groups, trying their hardest to keep warm.


(Is it me, or does it seem like there isn't many people on the dis at the moment?)

Neville looked at Teddy wide eyed, wondering how he turned his hair different. But as he was about to speak the professor moved them all into the classroom. Neville took a seat on the very right of the classroom.

As they walked into the classroom, Hermione went and sat next to Neville to make sure he didn't blow anything up. As the tables were in rows Cho went and sat nex to Hermione followed by Harry, then George and finally Teddy.

The lesson dragged on and they all thaught that they shouldent be learning this close to christmas.

George tried to stay awake and listen but he was so tired... next thing he knew, he was being nudged awake by Luna. It was the end of the lesson. He felt embarrased and rushed out of the classroom. "Potions next" he said glumly to his classmates "i don't mind the subject, it's just Snape is teaching us."

bumpity bump

they all get down to Potions and sit with each other near the back. Snape comes in from his closet where they were all kept a few weeks ago and says they were making a hiccuping solution today. George was with Cho and Lav today and they were all doing well so far. George looked at Harry, Neville, and Teddy's potion and saw it was starting to froth and turn a dark blue colour. Their potion was a slight light blue colour as was Hermione, Ron and Luna's potion so he guessed they were doing well.

"Um..I don't think ours is the right colour." Neville said to Harry and Teddy as he looked over at Hermione's then George's cauldron. "It's suppose to be lighter." Neville insisted. The statement coming off as more of a question. Neville began to stir the pot some more. "I think we forgot a little aligator skin." Neville said picking some up and throwing it into the pot. He stirred some more until their couldron turned purple. "I don't think that was right either." Neville said quietly.

George noticed Neville had added something wrong, their potion was now purple instead of the bright green mentioned on the board. George would've helped but he knew nothing of fixing potions.

Neville frantically stirred as he noticed professor Snape trudging around the classroom examining everyones potions. "Just put something in there!" Neville said. Nobody moved, so Neville reached over to a table and threw a couple of triangular looking fruit into the cauldron and began to stir rapidly. As he did Snape approached their cauldron. "Stop stirring." Snapes voice spoke coldly. As soon as Neville did a poof of black smoke shot up from the cauldron straight into snape's face. Neville and his friends took a step back afraid that he might strangle them.

George heard a noise and looked around to see Snape covered in soot. George smirked and was glad Snape couldn't see him. Snape looked very angry indeed like he was going to harm Neville, Harry and Teddy.

Cho started killing laughing at Professer Snape. She stopped after George ebowed her in the stomach. Professer Snape turned around and said "What are you laughing at Miss Chang?". The whole classroom went quiet, as Cho had never been in trouble before. She replyed "You've got a little.." She didn't get a chance to finish her sentance, when professer Snape butted in with "I know. Class dismissed" He demanded. The class slowly walked out and Professer Snape shouted "Cho, Harry, Neville and Teddy, detention. In the dungens with me at 7pm tonight.
