Can someone please tell me how I can vote for Diana by text message. I usually never vote...not really that into it even though we do watch every week. But I feel like I just have to vote....I just don't get Fantasia...can't stand her voice...plus there's something about her I just don't like. I think Diana is much better, so I want to support her. Thanks!

I haven't watched yet, but I recorded it. My parents said that Diana was getting good comments, while Fantasia was getting bad, that's weird. I did hear the last song though, and Fantasia didn't do too bad, and she got very good comments, with standing ovations. I don't really like her too much, but I hope she wins. I really don't like Diana.

Actually I just heard Diana sing the song, and I thought she was horrible!! She sounded so shaky in some parts and I thought it was just bad. Maybe I'm the only one that notices, I dunno. I might even give Fantasia a few votes because I'd rather hear her singing that song on the radio.

I'm hoping Diana wins this one.....I think Fantasia is so fake and really tries to suck up to the audience in hopes of getting the public to vote for her.....

Fantasia should be the next American Idol. Her version of Summertime was brilliant. I think Simon is right when he criticises people's singing but I wish he would lay off people's weight issues.

Even though I like Diana personality wise, I think Fantasia is definitely the better performer. She really does get the crowd behind her.

I really do not like her voice, and I especially don't like her personality. I shudder to think what it's going to be like in the media if she wins. I know a lot of people want to vote for her just because they don't like Fantasia, so if she wins because of that, that won't make her look to good, she probably won't sell lots of albums.

I have to agree with the previous poster who said that they had a hard time connecting to either one of these two. I couldn't agree more. To me, George Huff had the presence and the personality to be the next idol.
The judges went out of their way to find anything wrong with Diana while overpraising Fantasia.
Last season's Rueben vs Clay was much more interesting.

I have to agree about last season. I think both Clay and Ruben were better preformers.

I must agree. I just can't connect with this year's 2 finalists. I thought last year's AI was much better with Ruben & Clay. I think Fantasia is a better performer than Diana. Yes, Diana's voice can be shaky and she screams in her songs. I miss Latoya and George Huff. That would've been a better final 2. I'm not even voting tonight.

Summertime was so much better the first time she sang it. Tonights version was not that good...jmho/ and I'm not a fantasia fan.


I didn't think either of them sounded so good tonight...both sounded like they were singing with starined voices...too much practice maybe.

I thought both of Fantasia's songs were HORRIBLE. However, I thought she did the better job on the AI Single.

Diana was Awesome tonight! I really did like her AI Single too, but I think that Fantasia just blew her away on that one.


All in all I hope Diana wins, I cannot stomach the thought of having to see Fantasia on every TV show for the next few months! That girl is just irritating!

I thought Fantasia and Diana were BOTH better than Paul Anka!

I really think both girls are great in their own way. Very different styles, but both very talented.

I do wish they sang different songs tonight; I was disappointed they were singing repeats. I think they both chose songs that they sang well on previous shows, then went over the top trying to outdo themselves.

Well, I was one who absolutely could not stand Fantasia in the beginning and middle because I could not stand her screeching voice and her attitude,,, then found myself not minding her (horror) the last few weeks, but tonight I thought she was back to the screetching again....

I have to agree with a lot of the other posters..I don't care too much for either of them and will not buy the CD..I bought Kellys, Clays and Kinberly Locke, but not these 2.

I can't believe I just did something I never thought I'd do. For the first time in my life I voted for Fantasia. I hope my mom doesn't find out, she'd kill me!

Well I missed the first 1/2 of the show, but didn't really think either of them did that great tonight. Fantasia sounded ok on the last song, but she sounded like she was screaching at times. Her voice just grates on my nerves now, I was a fan of her's in the beginning, but just can't stand to listen to all the yeah, yeah's anymore.

I won't be voting for either of them. I can't imagine a whole CD of Fantasia or Diana.

My vote is definately going to Diana tonight! Fantasia did absolutely horrible on that first song...I really dont know what she was thinking. And what I really dont understand is how Randy and paula loved it..Thank goodness Simon said something. She did a lot better on her next ones. Diana did well on the first song, ok on the second, and her voice sounded pretty weak on the third. But in all, I don't think I could stand seeing Fantasia win, so im going for Diana!
