Off to Tokyo

Tomorrow I will be leaving for Tokyo! We are going to Tokyo Disneyland on our second week there. I'm super pumped and cannot wait! We're going during the week to avoid huge crowds that happen on the weekends. It'll still be busy but not stupid compared to the weekends (so my friend's in Tokyo say).

It's gonna be an amazing trip! I'll be there for a month and I'll probably hit up TDL more than once. I'll make sure to make trip reports for you all!

Have fun! I lived in Tokyo for 2 years and I miss it. (Sadly, I lived there before I discovered how much fun Disney can be and I never went to Tokyo Disneyland.)

I'm in Tokyo now! Looks like I'll be going to TDL this weekend! I'm super pumped. We just spent the day getting lost in Shibuya and Shinjuku.

Visited the Disney store in Shibuya and wanted to buy everything....so cute!!!

We saw it yesterday. There was a ton of people there haha.

We might be heading to TDL this Sunday-Tuesday. But we aren't sure yet. We are staying with friends and all depends on how close/far they are from the place. When we do go there will be plenty of video and photos!!

I did check out the Disney Store in Shibuya. It was pretty awesome. I wanted to buy everything there. I have to ask my japanese friends about this TDL special they have about getting about $15 off the admission price. I couldn't read the entire flyer but something about between may and june. Disney for a bit cheaper? Hells ya!

I used to tell people that I would meet them at the left edge of the really large dog mosaic on the wall and they would get all confused and ask why I didn't want to just meet at the little statue like everyone else. I would explain that I was too short for the mob of 10,000, but, that the mosaic was large and a very specific location. Once we met up they would always remark on how easily we had found each other compared to normal. I found it hilarious how it still didn't change their confusion when I suggested meeting by the mural again the next time.

Like I said, I never went to Tokyo Disneyland, so, I don't know anything about discounts. But, $15 off sounds good.

I've spent one day in Tokyo Disney so far! Went to Tokyo DisneySea yesterday. It was SOO much fun! I took tons of photos and a few videos.

Favorite part was the water show with Mickey Mouse yelling in Japanese and loud techno music going.

I'm also obessed with Duffy. We had to get a "fast pass" to even enter the store!! We got a ticket at 10am and it was good for 2pm ONLY. You were allowed to only buy x amount of items. Literally 1 out of 3 people were carrying Duffy something, either a teddy bear, keychain, hat, bag, etc. Even my friends I went with they had a Duffy bear and Shellymae Bear. They even have "photo areas" to put your bear and take photos of them infront of certain scenery.

Tomorrow we're going to Disneyland. I'm going to try and upload photos and video in the next day or two in a trip report for you all. Have to refrain from spending all my money...
