Off to the Land Down Under
Trip participants Colin (43) Me (38) and Zach (8)
Day 5 3rd June 2003
Zach up at 06.30 groan. So connected the camcorder up and let him watch the video footage whilst I got dressed and did some ironing. We went down to PD about 9.00 and spent morning doing yet more shopping, got myself 3 new dresses, Zach some books and a whole load of other junk that I will probably never see the need to own ever again. Had lunch at the Marina. We then hired a jeep for Thursdays day out to Mareeba.
Zach and I lugged the shopping back to the hotel whilst Col shopped some more. It was just sooo hot that could not resist another few hours by the pool following the sun through the rainforest canopy.
We then all got the bus back into town and had a really lush Mexican meal, with nachos, Chile Relenos, Tostadas, Enchiladas etc (sorry Dr Atkins) and beer.
Not a very exciting day but neede to unwind
