Off to Neverland! Shhh..It's a Surprise! Goodbye Lemmondrops, we will never forget

Now lets keep our finger crossed! So many visits... so few prizes. I bet you feel even more like that, Michelle!

Yes - but we finally won a dream fast pass in February while riding ToT. I was so excited! Sam was a bit disappointed - she thought when the dream guy showed up that we had won the castle stay (us and the 20 people in the room with us)

Flashes of the Castle Suite photos shoot through my head.
Please don't be a certificate...
Thoughts of a trip around the world visiting Disney parks splashed across my vision.
Please don't be a certificate...
The Dream Team CM promptly asked us how our day was going? What rides had we gone on? Were we having a nice time?
Please don't be a certificate...
Instead she asked if he liked to play games. He told her, “yes!” and asked if he liked cars and would like to race his mom in a car race?
Please don't be a certificate...
Just some good ole fashioned car racing.
Cool!!!
AND a certificate was awarded.
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! :headache: :headache: :headache:

Although you try your hardest NOT to be disappointed… it is hard. You read and read about the amazing things that some people have won.
And good lord, the lead up they give, you think something BIG is about to happen.

I'm totally looking for that race track in the pavement, though. And I'm bringing a couple of Leo's cars next trip. :teeth:

My thoughts are that it was a great learning lesson to hold on to your property!
I agree, but... it's the freaking DREAM Team - they couldn't cough up another pin for the dude?!?!

Can you tell I'm over this Year of a Million Carppy Certificates thing?

Still, it sounds like a GREAT day! :goodvibes

Need a little help!

We are heading back to WDW in Nov./Dec. My DH and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary next month and I though maybe I'd try to get us a special meal alone somewhere. Any thoughts? (this is all dependent on getting an ADR and getting the kiddos into a kidsclub of come kind.

I have heard the Jiko and Cali Grill are both very good for "date nights".

Hey Jen - what a great idea! What kind of food/atmosphere do you guys like? I haven't been to any of the real fancy restaurants but I've heard good things. Quite a few reports I've read have raved about Narcoossee's at the GF and Jiko at AKL. Go look at the menus and pick something you'd both like to try! Sounds fun! I'm sure the kids will have a blast at kids club!

ray and i LOVE narcoosee's. that's our "date night" restaurant at WDW. everything we've ever had there has been excellent. ray loves the sauce they put on the filet mignon there so much he could drink it. it's a 2TS restaurant (if you're doing the dining plan) but you can get filet and lobster as your meal and that by itself costs $58 without the DDP. if you do decide on narcoosee's, tell them it's your anniversary when you make the reservation. there's always something special there for things like that. and ask for a window seat. go during wishes (like if wishes is at 9:00, get an 8:00 reservation and you'll probably be having dessert while watching the fireworks). the view of wishes from there is soooooo romantic! the castle is just big enough to see in the distance beneath the fireworks in the sky. and they pipe in the music too. oh, and congrats on 10 years!

Well, I haven't been to either of these places, but from all that I hear, Narcoosee's and California Grill would be my choice for a kid-free adult dinner! They both sound so nice! If you can't get an ADR there, the French place at Epcot is supposed to be good (don't know if you like French food though) but a nice dinner there followed by Illuminations would be fun too! Happy Anniversary! Is it in October? Shawn and I were married in October as well - coming up on 12 years for us! Yowsers - I feel old!

Great Idea everyone! I will call tonight. I am off to scrapbook WDW all day. I am working hard to finish off our last family trip in 07.

I also have to consider trying to get them into one of the childcare places too. I hope i can get both still. I know it is late in the planning stages!

Aw Jen. I'm loving your report! That picture with your little guy sipping on the Dole Whip is priceless! It sounds like a truely magical trip so far. And how nice was it not to be pushing around a stroller? I'm looking forward to those days. Can't wait to read more!

Congrats on the ten year! Dave and I are celebrating our 10 year next month. I think we're going to McDonalds.:rotfl:

I can't wait to meet you in December!!

Jen have fun scrap booking and another vote here for Narcoossee's, also isn't the posher French restaurant meant to be good???

I don't think you'd have a problem getting your kids into a childcare place. If you can't get an ADR that you want, maybe you can just walk around one of the parks without kids - that would be nice too! :goodvibes
Keep us posted!

Hi, Jenn!

Did your DH run in the Twin Cities Marathon yesterday? I thought of him as I was watching the coverage. :flower3:
