well, what can i say? it was a strange concert really, the first 7 or 8 songs were ones nobody knew, there were a few real die hard fans in the audience who obviously had a new album or something and they were singing along but the twenty or so people directly around us were all looking as baffled as us
he then sang Daniel and Rocketman so that got us going a bit then a few more obscure ones (he can still play the piano mighty well even if we didn't know what he was actually playing lol) then he slotted in I guess thats why they call it the blues (I think thtas the best Elton song anyway) and then a couple more unknowns, the last 45 minutes were the best though and we had all the greats, I want love, Sacrifice, Your song, Are you ready, I'm still standing, everyone was on their feet to the dismay of the health and safety people, and it ended on a real high.
Mum really enjoyed it too which was the main point as it was her birthday pressie, finally got home about half twelve, a great night out.
thanks for your good wishes but I didn't even take my camera so no pics I'm afraid!
