Calling our experts...we just returned from our 2nd disney trip. First trip stayed at CS. This trip split stay between POR and Poly. We have exclusively done disney both trips. Need recommendation on off site property for family of 5. Will again do disney, but also seaworld and universal and want to just have some days to chill at the resort.

I don't know how old your kids are, but have you considered Nickhotel? It is SUPER close to WDW, and about 20 min. if not less to US (SW is in the middle). There is a ton of stuff at the resort to keep the kids occupied while the adults "chill".

Depending on the time of year, you can get a 2 bedroom villa at Marriott's Grande Vista Resort on the "new" section of International. Its 10 mins to DTD, 3 blocks from Sea World and 10 mins to U.S. Grande Vista is a great resort if you plan on spending some "down time" at the resort. Each building cluster has its own pool, and one huge pool at the main building.

We are staying in a 4 bed/3bath house in Emerald Isand resort This will be the first time in over 20 years that we are offsite. It will cost 1085.00 + 300.00 refundable deposit for 7 nights. Just about every house has it's own pool. From the house we are renting, you can see fireworks at the parks. Its 2 miles from WDW. There are townhomes available as well for close to half the price. Do a Google search and tons of sites will come up. We booked through www.orlando4villas.com.
Good luck and have a great trip!!. Julie

I would get a pool home, it was a great expience and plenty of room to spread out!
