Off site question. Windsor Hills/Reunion

Hello all.

We've booked our flights to see the mouse 12/14-12/21 and have booked Floridays but can cancel up to 24 hours prior.

I am thinking of booking Mickeys Word townhouse or something in Reunion. Reunion got great reviews and has a nice pool area but given the weather in Dec I am not sure if the outdoor pool should be the reason to book.

Windsor Hills looks nice and I like the idea of the splash pool. I had some questions though. Is the splash pool large enough for my son (3) to actually swim a little in or would he just be spinning in circles?

It would be DH, me , DS (3) and my dad travelling so I like the idea of a bedroom for my dad downstairs and away from us to give him his own space.

The splash pool is 12 ft by 12ft square. If you think about how big a bedroom or whatever is in your home it should be big enough for your child to swim in. There's a underwater ledge along the side with the stair for adults to sit on.
One good thing about the splash pool is that it's only a step away from indoors if it's chilly. If the pool is nice and warm you can use it and then make a run for inside when you get out. We did that a couple of time in March when we've stayed there.
Reunion is nice but unless you stay in a pool home you won't have a private pool. The waterpark is great for kids though and there's lots of planned activities both free and for a fee.
