Off site MDE usage

We are staying at Windsor hills over thanksgiving this year and have tickets from UT. Will the new ticketing (magic bands and rfid) and fp+ affect our trip or will we be carrying on like it's 2012?

Should I even bother with using MDE and linking tickets?

I've read so much about MB and FP+ but not sure how it will affect us now that we've switched to off-site.
