Off site hotels

Have to choose an off site resort. Choices are: Vistana Village, Vistana Resort Villas, Lake Buena Vista Resort Village, or Floridays...advice? TIA

The two Vistana resorts are very nice. Lengthy threads on both in the Reviews sub-forum above. Have stayed at both, and ended up buying in at SVR. Vistana Resort is larger and has more amenities and is about 5 minutes closer to Disney, Vistana Villages is a bit smaller, but newer build. Somewhat different vibe as the buildings are larger and the resort is more compact.

Have driven by Floridays many times, right across I-Drive from Vistana Villages. It looks to be a nice clean resort, but can offer no opinions. Would have really good access to the Premium Outlets, and there is a Publix and Walgreens a block away (same comment goes for SVV). Access to the Disney Springs area is also good via Darryl Carter Pkwy.

LBV Resort is right near the Small LBV Outlet Mall. It is a smaller property with not a lot of landscaping, looks kind of imposing standing in the middle of a field. But they do appear to have a pretty cool pirate ship for the kids. There is a WalMart Supercentre just down the street. Access to Disney is about the same as from SVR (i.e. very easy).

We stayed at Floridays and really liked it. Great location. We had a 2 bed unit, lots of space and everything we needed. However this was in 2013.
