Off-site hotels: which would u pick

We always stay at the Candy Cane. My DH is very picky and he loves it there. If you don't mind walking 250 yards or taking the free shuttle the location is great. Free Continental breakfast is also very good. Hotel staff are very efficent and very friendly. If you have any special requests they will do their very best to fullfill it for you. A couple of years ago I took my grandmother (75), Her cousin (65) and my mom (55) and they loved it. The hotel staff really took good care of them when I wasn't avaliable.

We loved the Tropicana, which is right across the street, second motel in from the crosswalk. I know its not on your list but others have mentioned it so thought I would too. And its been recently remodeled, its not fancy but our room was spotless, the staff was very nice and it was the first offsite place we have stayed at that made us happy. The location was perfect. Free breakfast; emphasis on free since it was pretty minimal!

Thanks for the suggestions & keep them coming. Rikersmom gets back home tonight, and we will be discussing this in a few days, as there are apparently coupons in the Entertainment book!

Someone suggested BW Park Place - I tried that but they don't have a room available for one of the nights we will be there.

We will take everyone's suggestions to heart. Thanks and keep 'em coming! :wizard:
