Off-site hotel thoughts please Nov 1-10.

9 nights Nov 1-10
Will not have a rental car. Will need a hotel with free shuttle to US/IOA and wet n wild.

Looking for a clean decent off site hotel with a nicely heated pool and free hot breakfast as close as possible to US/IOA.

I will have too spend first couple days (Nov 2-3) at orange county convention centre but then Nov 4-9 at Universal parks/wet n wild.

Would prefer to stay onsite but cost wise don't think I could possibly manage it.
I assume least expensive ticket option would be the 3 park unlimited type

Any suggestions would be so appreciated since I have yet to organize an orlando trip that centres on US/IOA convention centre.

My daughter and I stayed at Holiday Inn and Suites Maingate when we went in 2011.

The hotel was very nice. We were upgraded to a suite and it had a separate living room with a kitchenette.

The pool area was nice and clean and there was a spray section for the little kids.

TGIF was located in the hotel. Breakfast was not free but when we ate there it was very reasonable.

Shuttles were quick and on time. We actually walked to the parks one day but it was quite a trek. We took a cab one other time when we wanted to stay later and it was $5.00! Very reasonable.
