Off site for one night

My sister and her family are flying down an extra day early to go visit her inlaws in Clearwater. She is flying in early, renting a car, driving to Clearwater for a visit, and then driving back towards Orlando so they won't have much driving to WDW the next morning.

Any suggestions of where to check out? She is looking for a standard hotel room, clean, (perhaps a pool), and affordable, as they won't be spending much time there.

Close to the Disney area would be ideal

Hi! I have been doing research on this hotel- Comfort Inn and Suites in
Davenport, Florida because I am interested in staying there. It was ranked #1 for hotels in Davenport, Florida according to www.tripadvisor. (Davenport is located at exit# 55 off I-4, the road your sister will probably have to take from the Clearwater area to get to Orlando. ) It is newly built, supposedly 7 miles to WDW, offers a free continental breakfast and a small pool. I've seen rates for under $59.00 a night.

We always stay at Buena Vista Suites. They have a one day internet special on Thursdays with really good rates. Usually around $89.00 for a one bedroom suite. It has 2 queen size beds in the bedroom and a fold out couch in the little living room area with a refrigerator and microwave. They have a free breakfast buffet every morning. It is pretty good, usually has meats, potatoes, grits, oatmeal, pastries, cereal, bagels, toast, and even has an egg bar where they will cook your eggs to order. The pool area is just an average pool and hottub. Very clean hotel, nice staff, and affordable.
