Can anyone give me a couple of nearby off-site dining recommendations that would be reasonably priced for a family of four (2 teens, 2 adults)? TIA

I don't know about off-site but I do know my group LOVED the pizza from Marris Pizza. They deliver and bring paper plates and napkins too.
The first night of our trip we couldn't find a place to eat that didn't have and hour wait. So I suggested ordering a pizza and eating by the pool and hot tub. I had read about Marris Pizza here on the DISboard.

We called to order as we were leaving the front gates. It was so good, the kids wanted to order pizza a couple other days when we took a break to hang around the pool. There isn't another place where I can feed everyone for about $25. Here's a link to the menu http://marrispizza.com/MenuSit2.html

Next trip I plan to try a few other items on the menu. I like that they deliver and are reasonably priced.

Cheesecake Factory located at the Garden Walk has a HUGE menu and HUGE portions which would be good to feed a couple of teenagers. There are several other restaurants over there but as far as food quality, selection, cost, etc goes I think they are the best.

We like Mimi's Café, especially for breakfast. It's right across from the main gates. Also next to Cheesecake Factory which is at Anaheim Gardenwalk is California Pizza Kitchen, PF Changs (gourmet chinese) and Bubba Gumps. Some are more expensive than others but all are larger chains and very safe with varied menus.

Another vote for Marri's; LOVE that place...everything I've ever had there has been delicious...reasonably priced, too...plus, they deliver to nearby hotels.

If you're not from the area and are not looking for chain restaurants:

1. Roscoe's Chicken & Waffle House http://www.roscoeschickenandwaffles.com
2. There's a place called the Anaheim Packing District. Lots of restaurants, one place I like is "Umami Burger" or "The Kroft". For dessert I would hit up "Pop Bar". http://anaheimpackingdistrict.com

Everything stated up above are all good as well. These are just places you probably wouldn't find anywhere else and if you're looking for something different :)

There is a Ruby's on Lincoln (cross street is West, I think) which might be fun. Ruby's is a popular 50's style diner. Pizza Press on Harbor is good and quick with very friendly service. There is an In'N'Out for burgers and fries on State College and Ball. If you want something a little bit different, there is OC Rotisserie Chicken on Ball (just east of the In'N'Out and behind the car wash) for inexpensive and yummy Vietnamese sandwiches. The service there is always so friendly. A mile south of the parks on Harbor, there are some chains that can be popular with teens, e.g. Buca de Beppo, Joe's Crab Shack, etc.

I second pizza press. You can find discount coupons as well for there. It's something like $10 and you can put whatever you want on the pizza. Two people could easily share.

We also went to Buca Di Beppo. If you sign up for their mailing list you get a free small pasta (which is supposed to serve 2, but in actuality is more pasta than I would make if I were serving 6 people). It usually costs $17 but with the email sign up it's free. If you can all agree on one of the free options (ziti, spaghetti with meat sauce or fettuccine alfredo were my options) then it would make a perfect dinner with leftovers. If you ask for it to go, they'll give you plates and cutlery and some delicious bread.

If you'd like a smaller meal, I would recommend Mimi's and sharing. My mom got a beef dip sandwich and subbed the side fries for a french onion soup, which came with bread rolls. The side of soup was a good smaller meal that was still very filling.

Earl of Sandwich is in DTD so technically off site? The sandwiches are fairly cheap and were filling. They give the 'hot meal' effect without having to spend a lot per person or getting crappy greasy food. They also have an email offer but I didn't get it. I think it's one free sandwich.

Also definitely look into delivery. Carolina's Italian Cuisine delivers. I didn't try them but I will next time because the reviews are great. From Tripadvisor, someone said: "After a long day, we got the "Family Special" delivered. It came with a lot of food. Large pie, spaghetti, garlic bread, salad. And only for 25.99!" which I see as a pretty decent deal.

Do take advantage of discount offers and email signups, though. I stress that a lot if you're budgeting! They can shave your food costs down a LOT if you use them wisely.

Just a warning, avoid Captain Kids at all costs. Their cheap buffet sounds ideal for a family but the food is hideous.

We love Roy's and McCormick and Schmicks at Garden Walk. We also like getting Napoli pizza at DTD to go and eat it at the pool.

Will you have a car or are you walking? Where are you staying?

I love Marri's Pizza & Pasta. It has been there almost as long as Disneyland (58 years) and it is still a family owned and operated. It is a long time favorite of cast members.

Roscoe's House of Chicken & Waffles is a newcomer, but a long time favorite from Hollywood.

Near Marri's is Coco's, a small local chain of a family restaurants. Mimi's is in the same genre.

I love Roy's and McCormick & Schmick's, but not what I would call low cost. It is reasonable for the quality, which is high, but not cheap.

I am not a fan of the Cheesecake Factory, Bubba Gump's or PF Chang's. They are overpriced restaurants with mediocre quality and use way too much salt, sugar & fat in their dishes.

If you can get up to the Anaheim Packing House, the teens would love it. It is an upscale food court.

I'm so excited to hear there's a Roscoe's chicken and waffles near by. We went to the one in long beach when we took a Disney cruise in 2012 and went back the very next day for breakfast because it was so good. I'm excited for Disneyland and some fried chicken and waffles!

It depends what you consider reasonably priced. Anything within walking distance is going to have a resort area price bump compared to the same chain or a comparable place that's not next to a major tourist attraction. As you start heading away from the resort area it gets better, but you also see the same thing with places near the stadium.
If you're not from the area and are not looking for chain restaurants:

1. Roscoe's Chicken & Waffle House http://www.roscoeschickenandwaffles.com
2. There's a place called the Anaheim Packing District. Lots of restaurants, one place I like is "Umami Burger" or "The Kroft". For dessert I would hit up "Pop Bar". http://anaheimpackingdistrict.com

Roscoe's and Umami are both chains.

Roy's has wonderful food but it is expensive. NOT a place to go if you want to keep costs down
