off site condo/town home help

Hello all. After many visits over the years and always staying onsite, my family is going to go with my parents which means there are six of us. We are looking at staying off site in a condo or town home and to keep the cost down, are looking at 8 nights for under $1000. There are so many to choose from, most with a limited number of reviews. Do any of you have experience staying at one of the lower cost condos and if so, which ones do you recommend in that price range? Thank you.

We have had great experiences at:

Wyndham Bonnet Creek: Almost on WDW property, nice condos, can be really cheap if you rent shortly before you go using eBay (in September we spent $499 for 8 nights in a 3 BR)

Reunion Resort: Just a couple miles away from WDW, upscale condos and houses. We have rented 3 bedroom townhomes in the Carriage Point neighborhood (we are spending $1,000 for 9 nights in a 3 BR in January through VRBO)

Bahama Bay: A few miles southwest of WDW, nice place, consistently priced below $100/night. We have stayed here many times.

vrbo 434314 4 bedroom in emerald island. good location. has 2 king beds so worked well for us when sharing with my parents cause both couples got nice big, comfy beds. it was 89/night for us but that was dec 2013. I think price changes depending on your dates.

You might check out mousesavers.com. Recently got their newsletter. They have a good special for the Sheraton Vistana Village, very close to DTD, 2 bdrm suite. Pretty good rate, not sure what your dates are.

I highly recommend booking a condo or house through Allstarvacationhomes.com. They are so easy to work with and you have a ton of choices in either a vacation condo or house and the prices are really good, especially if you are splitting the cost between several families.

One thing to note is that if you are staying for at least 6 days or more, and you book through allstar, use the code allears and you'll get $125 off your rental price.

My family has been using allstar to book our place to stay for years now and haven't been disappointed yet.
