Off site checking out AKL

When someone is staying off-site, do they care if you check out the resort? I have heard there are tours? Say I have reservations at Boma or Jiko, how long before or after my meal can I spend there checking things out? Do they have a bar? Can you hang out at it if they do? Thanks!

Since you have reservations at Boma's, the security guard will give you a 3 hour parking pass for AKL.

You don't even need to have a dining reservation. The gate guards are really nice about letting people in to see the resort. We do this often since I love the place. We've been told to "enjoy" and once "hope you brought your camera". You'll probably be given a three hour parking pass no matter when you go so you don't have to spend half of that time eating.

You should be able to stay as long as you like...as far as I know, unless you are parked illegally, Disney will not tow you away. Even if you do not have the parking sheet in your window!!! My sister has come over and parked all day at the resort where we staying and all was well!!! Enjoy your trip!!!
