Off Property Suggestions for Solo Traveler

I have never stayed off property and need some help. Had planned my first solo trip for October and planned on staying with some cm friends. They have now had to change their plans for the weekend. I can still stay with them and have been offered their car but I am not comfortable driving in a city I have never driven in. So I am now looking for an off site hotel that is budget friendly, offers airport shuttle and shuttle to WDW. Does anyone have any suggestions? Maybe I am looking for too much?!
