Has anyone ever stayed in one of the off property resorts that has a Disneyland park view or fireworks view room? Do you have pictures of your view, was it worth the extra money?

We are staying in the area for one night soon (not going to Disneyland) and so we thought it might be fun to get one of these rooms to feel like we are getting some of the magic. We have looked at the Hyatt, the Hilton, the Red Lion, and trying to find out which other hotels offer a park view.

I'd love to hear about anyone's experience!

we stay at the desert inn and suites and there is nice patio on the roof that you can watch the fireworks from. daddy and i brought our cocktails and the kids had juice boxes. i made some micro popcorn and it was so much fun. we were all in pjs too!

We stayed at the Hilton a few years back with a TPV. I wouldn't go so far as to say its definitely worth it but I always go for the view if its reasonable. Its a bit far away but still was cool to see.

I stay at the Carousel and it's cool to go to their rooftop pool and watch the show. Also the esplanade in between both parks has a good view.
