We sailed on the Disney Dream July 1st - 5th. It was our first cruise and we are hooked!
Thank you to everyone here who answered all my questions along the way. I really appreciate all the advice, comments and pictures.
We hope to sail on DCL again soon!
Congrats and now the bad news, "All vacations other than DCL are just meh."
Totally! This is how I think as well. And, my mom is so spoiled by a balcony room that she made a face and pouted when I suggested any other room to save some money. We have been on other cruise lines and an inside was fine, but not anymore.
Did you bring the Navigators home with you? If so, would you mind posting them? Thanks
We did an inside (after much hesitation) due to fears of never being able to cruise again without a balcony and irrational fears of our toddler going overboard. For those who have done both... Is it hard to go back once you have had a balcony? In other words, will a balcony make or break the cuise experience? Thanks for the replies. We also had a balcony & can't imagine going without one now. We sat out there every morning & night. It was wonderful!

So glad you enjoyed it!
I don't think so, but again, in the eye of the beholder. There are many people who switch between verandah and inside. We did a delux family oceanview with verandah in Norway and are doing an oceanview in the EC. It all depends on your itinerary and preferences.
