Off our first Disney Cruise & loved it!

Our first cruise was last September and we loved it! We have cruises planned for this September and next April. Can't wait! It's addictive!

We sailed on the Disney Dream July 1st - 5th. It was our first cruise and we are hooked!

Thank you to everyone here who answered all my questions along the way. I really appreciate all the advice, comments and pictures.

We hope to sail on DCL again soon!

Congrats and now the bad news, "All vacations other than DCL are just meh."

Same here! We never thought we would like cruising but... We were wrong. Disney is the best. We are jonesing for the next one and hope to try a b2b if we can save enough. We are modest working class folks but felt like royalty on the boat...if only for a week:)

Totally! This is how I think as well. And, my mom is so spoiled by a balcony room that she made a face and pouted when I suggested any other room to save some money. We have been on other cruise lines and an inside was fine, but not anymore.

Husband also suggested inside stateroom after staying in balcony. I'll admit it...I'm spoiled now!

We also had a balcony & can't imagine going without one now. We sat out there every morning & night. It was wonderful!

My wife and I took our first cruise on the Fantasy in May. It was an amazing vacation. Can't wait for our next one, just don't know when that will be yet.

We did an inside (after much hesitation) due to fears of never being able to cruise again without a balcony and irrational fears of our toddler going overboard. For those who have done both... Is it hard to go back once you have had a balcony? In other words, will a balcony make or break the cuise experience? Thanks for the replies.

So glad you enjoyed it!

I don't think so, but again, in the eye of the beholder. There are many people who switch between verandah and inside. We did a delux family oceanview with verandah in Norway and are doing an oceanview in the EC. It all depends on your itinerary and preferences.

Thanks. That gives me a better reference for our future cruises I appreciate your response. I bet norway was breathtaking!
