Spoodles, BOMA, Ohana, SciFi, WCC, Trails End, Cape May, Coral Reef, 50's Prime Time, Cap n Jacks and/or Ragland Road? We are bring family that has never been to Disney and I want to give them nice dinner/restaurant experiences as well as views of the resorts. And I want to try to include as much of Disney as I can in 6 days. And we are on the DP. Thanks. popcorn::

I would choose: Boma, WCC, OHana, Coral Reef & Cape May. These are the places we have eaten at already and are eating at again this May:goodvibes

We've eaten at each. Multiple times...:)

For your stated objectives I would choose:

Boma
Spoodles
WCC
'Ohana
Sci Fi (Or Coral Reef) ;)

Boma
Cape May
Coral Reef
50's
Ragland Road

Boma is always consistently good.
But I really like Spoodles too.
RR I have always had good food and service. However from other's experiences they seem to be hit and miss. To impress, I might not want to chance. I would go to Turf Club instead. ;) :rotfl:
WCC is always a fun time, and serve regular type cookin'. Same with 50's.
Sci-Fi -- only for lunch.

I would pick BOMA, Coral Reef, Cap n Jacks

Raglan Road is my absolute favorite! I would also include: Spoodles, Coral Reef, 50's, O Hana...although I do not love the last three that I mentioned, I think they all offer wonderful Disney theming.

Have fun!

Since you asked, I'll give you my thoughts .... :cool2:

I'm guessing that since you said 6 days that you'll have 5 nights of dining -

I'd pick either Boma or WCC just to see the lodges. I'd probably pick Boma for the food, with a buffet usually everyone can find something they like. If you'll be in the AK, make an early evening ressie for Boma, but give yourself time to look around the AK Lodge. But if you'll be in the MK area, and like hooting and hollering and (sometimes) silly antics, WCC is fun. Check over their menu to make sure its the kind of food you like to eat. Either of those resorts are worth a visit just to look around.

Coral Reef - How often do you get to eat in an aquarium? :lmao: It is pretty in there and if you don't like fish they have a decent steak on the menu. If you want to see Illuminations (and its not to be missed, IMO) I don't know if I'd chance a reservation after 7 p.m.

Spoodles - again, I'd check the menu to make sure its the kind of food you like (Mediterranean), but the Boardwalk area is kind of fun at night, all lit up, entertainment (we watched a juggler and magician) and you can get there by boat (or walking, but its more than a hop-skip-jump for sure) from either EPCOT or DHS.

Ohana - I've eaten there several times and enjoyed it, reviews here are mixed, a lot depends on server, time of day, phase of the moon .... :rolleyes1 but it can be fun and the Polynesian is beautiful.

I've never eaten at SciFi, so can't discuss its merits over 50s Prime Time, but either would give you a "fun" choice at the Studios.

Whatever you choose, I hope all enjoy! :goodvibes

I've also enjoyed dinner at Spoodles, however it was 6yrs ago so I'm not sure if my recollection is still valid. We had lunch at Coral Reef, so don't shy away from it if that's the only ADR you can get! We may pay OOP for Trails End at some point on our next trip.

Boma - great buffet, beautiful surroundings

WCC - fun atmosphere, great setting

Ohana - fun, family atmosphere, view of MK

Coral Reef - unique setting

Spoodles - love the Boardwalk area, especially at night

OK, I will try again. :badpc: I decided to do a tally due to all the responses I got. So here they are: BOMA and Coral Reef got 12 votes each, WCC got 10 and Ohana and Spoodles got 9 each. So there would be the top 5 of these. Then SciFi and Raglan Road got 5 each, Cape May had 4, CapNJacks and 50's got 3 each and Trails End got 1. We may have to do a couple for lunch such as SciFi and maybe CapNJacks or 50's. The ones I haven't been to are: Spoodles, CapNJacks, 50's, Raglan Road and Trails End. So definitely looking forward to picking a couple of those. At least I have a couple months or so before I have to make ressies. Thanks everyone! popcorn::

We have tried most of them but the only ones we would return to are Spoodles:thumbsup2 , O'hana (breakfast only), WCC, Trail's End (breakfast or dinner) and Coral Reef.

I vote NO for SciFi, Trails End and Cap n Jacks.

I haven't tried Spoodles yet so I don't know... but seriously, don't bother with the ones I listed :D

My 2 cents worth:

1. Boma - we love it and return every trip. It is fun looking around the lodge and spending the evening there if we are not staying there.

2. Ohana - a favorite of ours two. We have never had bad service but others have. I love to shop at the Polys gift shops after dinner. Easy to get to from MK.

3. Sci Fi - tried it once and it was not that great. Wont return here.

4. WCC - tried this for the first time last trip. Everyone loved it and it was a great place to celebrate my sisters 50th birthday. Good to try once but I dont know if I would make a special trip here. Would return but not on the top of my list.

5. Trails End - Not worth the trip. Nothing exciteing.

6. Cape May - Wont return here we live on the Eastern Shore and are avid seafood lovers the food was way below par for what we are accutomed to.

7. Coral Reef - Another good choice for good food and service. Never had a bad time here. We did have a bad meal one trip but that was one meal out of the 4 we ordered that evening. We will return here next trip.

8. Spoodles but I would do this OOP we like the appetizers and they are not included on the new DP. We would probably split a meal and order appetizers at this place. Good drinks here too!!!

The others we have not tried. You picked some of our favorites.
