% of the race filled?

I am doing the half marathon and already have my room booked for January, how can you tell how filled the race is? On previous posts I read that you can see the percentage somewhere. I want to sign up asap but I dont just have the $140 to give yet. Thanks

The runDisney registration site will have a %full ticker pop up at 50% full. It will move up to 100% as the entries fill up.

If you go to www.rundisney.com and click on the event information for a given race, it will tell you what % full. They normally don't start posting until it gets to 50% full. They not showing a percentage for January but if you look at Disneyland you can see what the do.

I didn't register until October for the 2011 half and it was in the 70-something% at that time. Not to say it won't fill earlier, it's certainly possible, but I delayed quite a bit while waiting for $$ to come in.

2011 by far was the slowest filling race. Generally, expect to fill in June. Maybe earlier with the 15th medal
