Odds of having to change rooms ?

I'll be going to BWV for 4 nights later this year. I have two reservations; one for the first three nights in a boardwalk view studio and the other for the last night in a pool/garden view studio. I am on the wait list for a boardwalk view studio for the last night but just in case it doesn't come through...

What are the odds that I'll have to change rooms for the last night? Do you think the resort will accomodate me and let me stay in the same boardwalk view room for the last night?

Thanks, John-NJ

Unless the wait list comes through, the odds are good that you will have to change rooms. If you don't want to change rooms, have you thought about getting a preferred view (pool/garden) room for our whole time there and not having a Boardwalk View room? Then you wouldn't have to change.

I was allowed once to stay in a standard view for a night in the middle of my stay but I'm sure that was made possible because they "upgraded" someone else to a preferred view. That won't be as easy with your situation because the Boardwalk view room is the top of the line room and unless they give someone a larger room in its place, the person with the reservation for it, won't be happy unless it's the Boardwalk view.

Good luck.

I'd say your chances of staying in the same room is close to zero unless your wait list comes through.

I told my wife that it was likely we would have to change rooms for our last night and she was OK with it. She would like to keep the boardwalk view for the first three nights and move for the last night. Now, I guess, we just wait and see if the last night comes through.

Thanks for the replies.
