Odds of getting 2bedroom @ BCV at 7mths out?

Our tentative plan for next May is to try for BCV at the 7mth mark.

What are the odds that a 2bedroom would be available though? We plan to arrive on May 19th which is earlier than a lot of (northern) schools get out and after the Flower & Garden show but I have no idea if this is a super busy time at BCV.

Any opinions on our odds of success?

We booked 2 two bedrooms this year for our grand gathering at the 7 month mark. We arrived on May 16th. Just make sure you call on the first day it opens up. Good Luck!

If you call right away it seems as though you should have success. Now if you are asking about the small number of 2 bedrooms that have 2 queen beds that might be a different story.

Just make sure you book your home resort at 11 months out and then switch at 7 months.

We own at BCV, but didn't book for May at the 11 month mark. We booked for May 22nd at the 7 month window and got a 2 bedroom dedicated using OKW points - we were very happy!

We were able to switch over to BCV last august at the 7 month mark...for a 2 br without the 2 queen beds.....we waitlisted for the 2 beds and it came thru within a month or so

We had no problem booking BCV for May 2010 at the 7 month mark. Outside the superbusy times - and May is one of the slower times - BCV is usually available at 7 months.

We booked at the 7th mo. window for 5/8-5/16 for a dedicated 2br. As previously stated, make sure you call MS exactly at 7 mo. We, too, booked our home resort (OKW) and then made the switch. We loved it and had a great time. Good luck!

If you should be placed on a wait list at the 7 month mark, don't get discouraged. Remember that the owners of BCV may have reservations that they made at the 11 month mark, but they plan to switch to another resort at the 7 month mark. Sometimes a day or two later reservations open up and then your wait list would come through.

Even after typing this warning, I do think you have a very good chance of getting a reservation for May at BCV at the 7 month mark. Good Luck!

We've booked BCV in May twice at the seventh month mark, once in early in May the other time in late May. I think your chances are pretty good if you call exactly when your window opens.
