What do you think some of the oddest and strangest parts of Disneyworld are?
For me, it was when we were driving up to the Grand Floridian and there was a speed limit sign that said 8 mph or some goofy number like that.

This is often done to make it sure people actually NOTICE a speed limit sign.

Many parking lots have "10 mph" signs, and people ignore them.

A sign with an unusual number makes people DISCUSS the number and THINK about the slower speed.

Judging from your post, I guess it worked.

The speed limit is always 5 mph above the posted speed limit so I would do 13mph.

Huh? So the limit is not the limit.... hmmmm. :rolleyes1

This is why I tell my kid that the most dangerous place to drive is in a parking lot!

Ok, so back to the OP's original topic!

This is a really fun topic, but my mind has gone blank...I can't think of anything weird to share, and I ALWAYS come up with strange tidbits everywhere I go. :confused3 I'll think of something and get back to you. ;)

I recenty discovered that All Star Music uses fifty-TWO watt bulbs:

Disney also seems to enjoy decorating with skulls. If you keep an eye out, there are a lot of them!
