Odd Thing With Reservation

I have something kinda odd going on and want to know if this is anything I should be concerned about.

I made my Nov/Dec reservation for AKV-K in December. The guests on the reservation confirmation are:

Guest 1: Husband (owner)
Guest 2: Me (owner)
Guest 3: MIL
Guest 4: Daughter
Guest 5: FIL
etc

I received our ME luggage tags already. All of the tags have FIL as the main guest and then each of our names listed underneath on our respective tags.

I had to call in two of my dining reservations (WDW DINE) and they were both made under FILs name. When I asked if they were made under my husband's name, I was told they were made under FILs name as it is his reservation. I questioned that and they said that the system they are pulling the reservation from shows that his name is the "lead name" on the reservation.

How can that be possible that the reservation would be under his name when my husband and I are the owners? Is there a possibility that my reservation is messed up or that we will have issues when we arrive for check-in?

This reservation had MAJOR issues with point allocation when I made it and I had to go to a high-level supervisor to get it resolved (2+ months for a resolution)....now I am nervous about something happening when I check-in.

Also, I rented points to a Disser for a vacation a few months ago and she had only a one-night stay and a total nightmare with the reservation when she checked-in.

Is DVC known for being unstable and inaccurate with reservations?
Is it typical to have issues?
Do you think I have anything to worry about?
Is a call to MS tomorrow necessary?

When I have made reservations the first name given to the CM is the one that has shown up as the lead name on the reservation. Could you have possibly given his name first when they asked who would be in the villa? It will not make a difference when you check in. Anyone on the reservation can do the check in.
I have been a member since 1997 and have never had a problem with a reservation or check in but I am sure there are some that have. I have rented points out a couple of times and no on had any problems at check in.
Hope you have a good trip and no major issues.

I understand that the situation is annoying, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. All your bags will go to the assigned room and anyone listed on the reservation will be able to check in.

My guess is that the lead name got changed from your DH to your FIL when the point reallocation issue was resolved.

If it really bugs you, don't call - send an email requesting them to fix the reservation so that your DH or you are lead. FWIW, I wouldn't do this. Every time someone touches the reservation, there is opportunity to introduce a mistake. And AFAIK, it doesn't matter who is lead. The points are yours and you control the reservation in all the important ways, anyway.

Shouldn't be an issue with your ADRs either.

Thank you both for the feedback. I will leave it alone so that we do not have any problems....it just had me worried after all of the other issues we have had.

To answer your questions

Is DVC known for being unstable and inaccurate with reservations? yes....to a degree. Your reservation is not necessarily inaccurate, just a different person got listed as primary.
Is it typical to have issues? again, yes to a degree. If you are trying to do something overly complicated or you are not specific. It is best to request your room, book your room, explaining exactly where points should come from, etc. Then follow up with other questions, etc. Don't try to do too much and taking it one step at a time is best.
Do you think I have anything to worry about?nope
Is a call to MS tomorrow necessary?already answered....absolutely not! You will be fine at check in, etc. I believe if it really bugs you, you can change it at the resort during check in.

Best advice ever!! If it aint broke, don't fix it....most people just don't understand that human error occurs and anytime someone goes into that reservation, you never know what they will click or not click. Or worse, the CM will think the easiest thing to do with be cancel and rebook it...losing the entire thing! As long as you are all listed, don't sweat it.

You got your luggage tags for your Nov/Dec vacation already? I just got mine yeserday for a July vacation.
