Odd Room Request

I have a WC accessible room w/ roll in shower reserved at Pop Century. Looking at pictures, it looks like handrail is in a L around toilet.
How do i request a room with the rail on the right hand side? I am unable to use my left arm to stand with and after a week, reaching behind me to stand kills my rotator cuff.

Who do i contact to ensure this? i really don't want to wait and hope its ok. I would prefer the toilet with the handles attached and shower, but i don't know if that combo is available

It’s not an odd request, it’s just a specific one. We have contacted Disability Services with specific requests like which side of the toilet a wheelchair can be parked in the accessible roll in shower room. They were very helpful.
You can contact:
Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com.

I have stayed at the POP on multiple occasions, always in the room type you described. All of the room have the bars as you described. Each room I have stayed in has the bar on the left side of the toilet. Maybe Disney has a free standing toilet support bar they could put in your room. If not, you might check into renting one from a medical supply company.

Neighboring POP rooms are generally mirror images of each other. So I'm sure they have some HA rooms with the bar on the right and some with the bar other left. As SueM suggested, call and make your specific request.
