From being seated to leaving, how long does the meal take? (Assuming appetizers, etc are being ordered...)

Thanks!

Meg

OK, if you do appetizers and desserts and a regular entree I think it would take at least an hour. It somewhat depends on the diner. Some people take their time eating and some move along quickly. As far as service goes I think it is usually average, speed wise. I think it also depends on the size of your party - a larger group will take longer but that is at any restaurant not just LC. Also note that because of the high number of diners at LC you may have a little wait for a table after you check in at your ADR time.

When we've eaten at Le Cellier, it's usually taken a little over an hour. However, we are a party of 4 and have early dinner times, so that may play a part in how quick it is for us. I must emphasize that we've never felt rushed. As one of the most popular restaurants at WDW, I think they just have their act together!

In any event, plan for more time. If your luck is anything like mine, when you need everything to go well and quickly because you have another event to get to, everything will go wrong and take twice as long!

Service was very quick when I was there last month. So much so that they tried serving my entree before I had received my appitizer.

Thanks for asking that OP. We have 7.40 ressies here and we were hoping to catch illuminations afterwards; sounds like we might have a shot at it!

We go in Jan when crowds are light and eat early and we have never had a meal take less than 90 minutes and we have often waited past our ADR time 15-45 minutes as well. I think with a 7:40 ADR you are pretty unlikely to catch much of illuminations.

Oh well, if it happens it happens, if not we'll be there other nights that trip...thanks for the info tho!

I would say an hour tops!!!

Last time we were there the courses came out super fast..we had to have our entrees sent back to the kitchen cuz we were still eating our apps.

if you want a slow meal order appetizer and then your entree..if you are looking to speed them up order everything at once.

1 hour is safe. The wait time, even with ADRs is usually longer than you would think, but the service is quick. Every time we go here - it is over packed. Very popular place! So maybe allow for an hour and a half to be safe.

Another suggestion is check in a little before your ADR time - even like 15-20 minutes. You may get seated earlier then. No guarantees but it is worth a try if you are in the neighborhood early enough.

Same for us!! :)

That's why I did the later ADR's...hoping to finish up right before Illuminations. :thumbsup2
