Odd Question from CRO CM

I called last night to confirm our reservations (2 days to go!) and while I was on the phone with the CM she asked me (and it sounded like she read it off the screen): "When you come to Walt Disney World Resort, what do you like to do the most?"

I laughed and said "everything!" but she asked me to narrow it down. So I told her attractions and dining.

We plan on a quick weekend trip the first of November, when my friend called to reserve the room she said she was asked some strange questions. Now she has called for rooms about 30 times and was never asked these questions before.

Exactly! I have four trips planned between now and the end of the year, I've called for trips prior to this too of course (they even laugh when they look at my history because we go so often) and I've never been asked anything like that before.

Two years ago I had a fantastic CM - the computers were running extra slow but he wasn't letting it get to him, "a little extra pixie dust, hit the magic button aaaaand wait. . ." So since there was all this time he'd chat with me about previous trips, this trip we were booking and we ended up getting extra pamphlets of information for some of the things to do around Disney that we'd talked about. Never got them before, never got them after and they came separate from all of our confirmations. So I'm guessing there must be a place to put information as to what interests a guest has.

But hopefully I'm wrong and it's all about the pixie dust!

Pixie dust would be nice but since I never win anything ever I doubt it. I always say if I won lotto I wouldn't be around to enjoy it since I'd drop dead from the shock! I'm not expecting to get anything for YOAMD either but I sure hope I get to see others get something, that's just as much fun.

The last two times I have called CR I have been prompted for a survey at the end of my call. Is this what you are referring to or am I getting something different?

It wasn't the survey, I've done that. This was just the CM asking me as she was checking my reservation but it wasn't really a conversational tone, it was as though she'd been prompted to ask me and when I gave ther the very general 'everything' answer she pushed me to be more specific, so it wasn't just a conversational gambit on her part.
