odd problem

My friend on VMK keeps getting disconnected every time she enters a guest room. She's fine if she stays in all the "public" areas, but as soon as she goes into a guest room it happens. She waited in queue for host room from 600 and finally got in, only to get dc (and now host event is over.) She's tried contact us to see if she can get some help with this problem, but I know that can take a long time.

Anyone ever have this problem? I'm not sure what to tell her to help her, I have no idea what the problem could be.

Try clearing out the cache in the browser the temporary internet files and after if it still does it try increasing the size of the cache some.

The cache stores the information for the pages you are looking at and have looked at to make them load faster and if the copy of a page is bad when you come back and it tries to load the corrupted data again instead of a fresh one it can crash all over again.

Hope that makes some sense and helps some, also dont forget to defrag your HD once in awhile to speed things up some.

I was having issues with pages on VMK loading and so I cleared the cache and bumped up the cache allocation. Well I went a little too big and that was not good either LOL!

Now though have things worked out pretty good! need to add more ram though to help overall, vista is a hog.
