ok. so I have a couple of concerns with the new online system. Does anyone who has reserved two different DVC resorts see that online it shows or is listed as the 2nd reservation as first followed by the 1st place the stay begins at along with this on the room type it says Delta Air Lines even if you book with member services????

The new software was written for Disney cash Guests, not the DVC. Cash Guests use a "travel plan". All of their travel activity is listed under one travel plan number. If you book multiple rooms or book a split stay as a DVC Member, you may only be given one travel plan number for all of the rooms.

Don't know about the Delta thing.

I understand that but should they not be in the order in which one is staying? In addition shouldnt each part state the correct amount of days and nights per each reservation?
Mine say the same amount of days and nights but than list the correct days and counterdicts the days listed. Member services says don't worry, Tech support says they do not do anything but help with passwords.
see below

Reservation number 1
Check In: July 10, 2011
Check Out: July 13, 2011
Length of Stay: 4 days, 3 nightsDisney Resort Hotel Category: Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts
Date Rate per Night
Tue, Jul 10 $ .00
Wed, Jul 11 $ .00
Thu, Jul 12 $ .00

than the next part is Reservation number 2
Check In: July 5 , 2011
Check Out: July 10, 2011
Length of Stay: 4 days, 3 nightsDisney Resort Hotel Category: Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts

Disney Resort Hotel Room Type: Delta Air LinesDate Rate per Night
Thu, Jul 05 $ .00
Fri, Jul 06 $ .00
Sat, Jul 07 $ .00
Sun, Jul 08 $ .00
Mon, Jul 09 $ .00

If the dates are correct and just listed out of order and you can confirm the reservation on the member website, I wouldn't worry about it. Obviously the Delta rate is a software error because you are staying on DVC points.

Thinking from the sound of it that you are knowledgable on this, what would be your take on the miscount of days being 4 nights and 3 days on both reservations causing a problem with dining credits and such?

My take on it is that it's a software bug in the code used to produce the reservation display. I have seen the same thing with my reservations. As in your case, my multi-part reservation shows the correct check in and check out dates for each segment but the number of nights displayed is correct only for the first segment. It appears that their software is just repeating the number of nights calculated for segment #1 or is recalculating but is retrieving the wrong data.

I don't think it will affect dining credits because I would expect those to be based on check in and check out dates and those are correct.

Actually it is repeating the number of nights from the 2nd part of our trip and the trips are entered in chronilogically backwards (going backwards in dates). But I think and hope you are correct about it not affecting anything further.

What I meant by "Segment 1" is the first segment that is displayed, which is actually the second part of your stay. My reservation is displayed the same way.

In my case the last days of the trip were reserved first. I called again weeks later and moved up my check in date. MS booked those nights that I added on to the beginning of my stay as a separate reservation. I was thinking the reason my reservation is displayed in inverse order is because that is the order in which it was booked. So I'm curious, did you happen to book yours that way too? If so then it's possible that their code is just pulling up the reservation records from the database in the order in which they were stored rather than sorting them by check-in date as it should.

Yes in looking at my history of resort changes the last segment was adjusted first than the first part so you are probably correct. Does yours say Delta airlines too? I was joking with my DH and said maybe because weve changed around resorts so much we are frequent fliers... LOL

ok so in this mess We chose to change resorts in an attempt to get our reservation at one resort for all 8 nights now the website has a check in date and checkout date wrong but when we click on the details link, it is all correct. Member services says its all o.k. so what gives. Can't it just be correct? I was told the disney website is just for the customer/ vacationer and that they never even look at it.
