What do you use to hold/keep track of your ticket and FP? I'm concerned about losing them, especially about losing my ticket, taking it in and out all day. Because of money and school, I was only at WDW once when they still used the paper FP system and I don't remember much about it. Now I'm so used to everything being on my wrist (and therefore harder to accidentally drop)...do people use lanyards? Lanyards with mini wallets on them? Is it difficult to lose your ticket card out of your jeans pocket and I'm just overthinking things?

I have a small pouch (3.5" X 6") I wear around my neck. It has two zipper sections and a clear plastic section that closes with velcro.
In one of the zipper sections I carry my smart phone, the other zipper I carry cash, credit cards and photo ID. The clear plastic one is perfect size for tickets and all FP's. I carry up to 6 tickets, depending on how many grandkids are with me on a trip.

I also will carry a back pack. But I don't like to keep the items I listed above in the back pack. I want them in easy access and the neck pouch is best for me.

We use our lanyards to keep our park tickets and FP's in while we tour the parks.

I have a jacket with zippered pockets. It's awesome and I put stuff I don't want to lose in it.

I used pockets last year and was constantly worried about losing them- we didn't but I worried. This year we ordered for fairly cheap some Disney lanyards with clear pouches for ID's on them. We will just stick out fp/tickets in there for easier access and less likely to get lost.

Lanyards with ticket holders (plastic pouch) are sold in the parks. These are helpful, but not very durable.

My preference is the Witz See It Safe Waterproof ID Badge Holder:

Replace the thin black lanyard with your favorite Disney design.
I use lanyards without any "safety" releases.

The link above is where I purchase these cases, but Witz products are available at many sporting good stores.

Same as above but I bought from REI's website.

Ha! Disney design. I have my super-awesome-fabulous Ravenclaw lanyard. :) Love that thing. So soft and comfy and non-scratchy. (vs any of my Disneyland-purchased lanyards).

Room key, ticket/AP, FPs, CC, ID, insurance card, a little cash...

I wear the same at WDW (b/c MBs don't cover everything and Disney's IT is pretty bad and glitchy, and no one should be touring with JUST the MB) and Uni. I used to wear a Disney lanyard at Uni, but the Ravenclaw one is so awesome and soft.

WDW vet here. This is the same thing that I used to use before Magic Bands. I got one on our Disney Cruise years ago. I plan on using it for our DL trip in Sept.

I use a coin purse that I got in WDW literally 20 years ago. It's odd the things you remember, I remember where I bought it in Epcot. Anyway, I use that for my ticket and fast passes only.

Have a great trip and enjoy the best fast pass system. Be sure to read up on DL fast pass strategies .

I'm concerned about losing them, especially about losing my ticket,

Tip: Take a picture of the front and back of your park tickets when you get them. Should you loose it, guest services can easily cancel and replace your ticket if you have the picture with the bar code and all the information on it...less stress about loosing a ticket.

I just use pockets. Sometimes the back pocket of my jeans, if they are deep enough, or sometimes in the hidden inner pockets of a jacket I am wearing.

I use my wallet, which I carry in a front shorts or jeans pocket. I always have it anyway, just for park days I leave out things I won't need (more than one credit card especially if we're staying onsite and can charge to room, work ID, loyalty cards, etc) and use the empty slots for tickets and fastpasses. It's worked great for me over the years.

since we live here believe it or not, we are always carrying a back pack lol my son becomes the pack mule when I get tired of it :) we put everything in there

We used the lanyard with pouch that they sent us for our last trip. The hole in the pouch broke, though, so we couldn't keep it on the lanyard. So, after that, I put them in a little carry purse I have that has an outside pocket. We just passed it around to whoever was running for the next Fastpass.

I got one of those aluminum wallets that fold out like an accordion from a 99cent store and it is awesome. It's hard plastic on the outside but allows easy access to everything I need. It fits easily into my front jeans pocket or a cross body.

I also have an accordion wallet, but mostly use a Vera Bradley zip i.d. case. The i.d. case is perfect for my AP and a few other things. The FPs fit right in the clear sleeve in the front. And the key ring keeps it on my belt loop. The Witz cases get very good reviews here and on other boards. I keep meaning to buy one on my next visit to REI.

My daughters and I each have one of the Disney Vera Bradley across-the-body purses. They're small and light and have a front pocket for our passes. There's just enough room for cards, money, sunscreen, chapstick, etc. Not a water bottle though, we prefer to tour lightly and just buy bottled water throughout the day.

I've attached a picture. We each have a different pattern. We used to use the Disney lanyards but also experienced the hole on the plastic pouch breaking.
