I had to think long and hard about some of today's answers.

If a word doesn’t come to me right away, I take my time. Work with the remaining letters and try not to use any that have been eliminated. Sometimes there are unfamiliar words and it’s just trial and error; at least it rejects any combo that’s not a word! And sometimes I realize I missed the obvious.

I do like that it does let you know if your combo is a word. I have had to go to a dictionary because I don’t recognize a word, though.
