I have never been to disney in October before. How are the crowds during Oct, 5-12? Are the lines long?

We went mid-October last year and loved it! My sister had never been at any time other than summer months, and she now says that she will always go in off-season in the future. I have never been in the summer so to me the crowds are "normal" but she said it was unbelieveably "slow". It should be GREAT!!!
