Hello

My DH and I just returned from USO and didn't get our fill so we have decided to go back in October. We will be there from the 20th thru the 24th with one night for HHN.

What is the weather like in October? We have only been in Orlando during the summer months and aren't sure what to bring to wear.

Can we wear shorts and tee's durring the day and jeans with a sweater at night or is that too much? What about the water rides and pool? Will it be too cool for them?

Sorry if these are silly questions but here in VA October gets chilly.

The weather is NICE. T-shirts and shorts/jeans = no problem.

At night, sweaters are not needed. It's still very comfortable outside. As for the water rides, it'll just take you a little longer to dry out in Oct than it does in June-Aug.

i agree with the Dark Marauder. you dont need a sweater, heck for that matter you dont even need jeans at night! t-shirts and shorts the whole way.


last year i really over packed. as a matter of fact it was my first trip ( went in oct ) and i went shopping for new clothes in late september. DUH boy did i feel stupid! it didnt even dawn on me that it would be WDW weather would be like a nice spring day back home. LOL oh well, i got alot of really fun resort clothes.

dont pack a sweater, and if you get cold buy one at the parks. they arent that expensive and make for a great souviner.

I would have packed all wrong. It's just hard to imagine shorts in October
