October....????

We're going along with our son and his family this October to WDW. This will be our grandsons first visit, he'll be just 18 months old at the time. We have tickets to MNSSHP already. What can we expect that night in as far as parade?, trick or treating?, ????.

The one thing that did surprise us last year was how crowded fantasy land always seemed to be. I thought that after the first parade families with younger kids would head out and we could ride peter pan and winnie the pooh then but those little suckers held out until midnight and the place was jammed.

It really depends on the night that you are doing MNSSHP. We went on a Sunday night and had a blast. During the week it is less crowded compared to weekends. Yes MK was crowded early on and there were lines for the rides but nothing more than a few minutes. Never saw MK in a Halloween theme before, and it looked truly spectacular. Candy stations are all over the place and you can get a photo of your family taken for FREE at various photo stops! On this particular night the park did clear out after the first parade and at that point nearly all the rides/attractions were walk-on. We have lots of pics and video from that night, and the coolest part was my DD6 and DS4 dancing in front of the castle to the scarey yet upbeat Halloween music with the many Disney characters (the characters were just walking around signing autographs and having fun themselves). You'll have a great time.
