October - What Season?

Is October considered regular or value season for WDW resorts? Does it vary depending on the category? If so, what would the values and mods be considered in October? Thanks.

It depends when you go, I think up to Oct 4th is value season, after that I think it is regular.. I am going sept 30th-oct 9th, so I will get the entire reservation priced at value. (I am staying at POFQ)

We're going October 1-8, 3 nights at POP, 4 at AKL, can't wait.

Thanks for the quick replies! I just changed my dates so we could be in value season. It's also working out better for me with taking one day off of work. This is going to be a surprise trip for my DH's birthday. We have AP's that will expire on 10/18, so I want to squeeze in one more long weekend before they're done. He'd absolutely KILL me if he knew I was planning this. The hotel room will be relatively cheap. But it's the airfare I'm working out right now. Buying 4 airline tix - almost $1000 but not quite. Maybe I can hope for an AP rate at POP for our dates??? AAA in the least.

I have butterflies in my stomach thinking about this surprise trip!!!
