I just got back yesterday from WDW, and I noticed every day, no matter if I was at Disney (or at Universal last Tuesday), there were a ton of tour groups around. I did see a few on my July trip, but it was way more noticeable last week.

The summer groups are typically teen groups, but the groups I saw were young adults in their 20s and 30s. Some were Brazilian, but I can't say all of them were.

I've never seen October so hopping compared to even last year at this time.

Had a great time. Only gained two pounds, which is remarkable considering how much I ate and drank myself silly. ;)

:cheer2: Welcome back!

Okay, should i get some bright t-shirts in yellow, lime, and orange to blend in the big tourist groups? ;)

Last year, a lot of those certain tourist groups were at the All Stars.

Lori- when Jay and I went from Oct 4-10th there were a lot of tour groups as well. We were a little fed up with it. I understand they are trying to have a vacation themselves, but they would just stop deasd in their tracks and then decide where they wanted to go. Granted, I'm guilty of it, but I try my hardest to make an attempt to move to the side as we are trying to make a decision of where to go.

Anywho. I hope you had a great trip.

We just got back also - we were there Oct. 5 - 16.
And we saw them as well. I was wondering if it was some huge holiday in South America as a lot of groups were from there. Quite a few from Brazil. Also a good amount of people from Columbia and Argentina.

I found it odd to see so many at once, that it never usually impacted my trips like this, especially in October. It didn't affect me much except for when I saw Harry Potter. The friend who went to Universal with me on October 12 had been there in September. She said the tour groups made a big impact, as the crowds were not as big when she went last month.

I didn't even see that many in July, and I expect to see it in July!
Most of my time was centered around the Food and Wine Festival, and that was fine on weekdays.
