October park shoes

I have read a lot posts here about park shoes and I personally have a park shoe situation that works well when I'm in Disneyland but I'm thinking that the October weather with its high temps and heavy rains that I keep reading about might mean I need a different shoe plan of attack. What I do in more temperate and dry weather at Disneyland in LA is Crocs capri flipflops and I swap them out late afternoon during my nap time with my vionic sneakers or if its going to rain I wear my rainboots. Rainboots wont work in the heat and I'm thinking flip flops will be too slippery and sneakers might get soggy and stay that way-yuck.

So what is a good park shoe for the weather that I am expecting?

It doesn't rain much in October. Rain boots won't be needed. Wear regular comfortable shoes that are light

I've been multiple times in October and I wore my Vionic sandles and they did fine the couple times they got a little wet. I also bring my Teva Tirras to wear if it is pouring rain or I'm planning on getting soaked on water rides.

I would wear sneakers or the flip-flops you're planning on wearing and if it seems like it's going to rain, maybe buy a pair of walmart or old navy flip flops that even though they get slippy, they at least dry fast, so you can wear them while its raining but then change back into your other shoes. Unless a big storm systems hits while you are there, it usually doesn't rain all day in florida like it can at Disneyland when it actually happens to rain.

I've got a great pair of Vionic sandals that have a water-repellent sole that I wear if it IS raining or long periods of rain are expected during the day. Otherwise - I just wear my sneakers. Unless you happen to get a tropical storm moving through - October in FL is alot like CA.

Rain boots are (typically!) not needed in Oct. I tend to like the Skechers Go Walk Super Sock shoes. They are supportive like sneakers, but very lightweight and they dry out very quickly.

I like Sanuk brand shoes. They have lots of different styles (flip flops, casual shoes) but all have rubber soles that dry quickly. I will usually wear Sanuk yoga mat flip flops during the day and switch to casual shoes later at night if the air is chilly.

Wet sneakers are the freaking WORST. I don't care how great your moisture wicking socks are, wet sneakers = blisters. I go with a flat sandal with a back usually or Tieks. Something like this: http://www.zappos.com/p/michael-mic...color/675963?zlfid=191&ref=pd_detail_4_sims_v, and I also wear jelly shoes. LOVE them! I can't recommend Tory Burch's jelly sandals more. I have some girlfriends that even have cute Croc jellies and have loved them in the parks.
