October Hours Extended, What do you Think?

We just booked another great vacation for the end of October, 7 Night at the Beach Club followed by the Disney Cruise.
Looking at the hours for the parks in October it appears they are a little shorter than what we experienced last year at the same time.
Does anyone think they will be extended as we get closer or is this probably just a cutback.
Particularly Saturday night at the Magic Kingdom closing at 10, last year I think it was 1am. And Hollywood Studios closing at 7 when I'm sure it was at least 8 and maybe 9.

Looks like mid Sept last year Disney changed the schedule around some. I found this post from easywdw regarding the changes for Oct 2013 calendar. I have NO clue whether or not history repeats itself though.

Yeah they extended a lot of hours last year, including Oct and Nov. They were originally shorter. Hoping for a repeat!

I am too. With the way free dining is blacked out for most of the month, Disney must be anticipating higher crowds.

Looks like they already 'extended' hours for October. Last year MK was open til 8pm, they extended it to 10pm last year. But this years schedule already has it open til 9pm.

I just wish they would extend things even earlier in the morning. 9am start time stinks. I prefer 8am.

Yeah, we'll be there the last week of October. My son wakes up with the chickens at 6am, so we're going to have to keep him busy for a couple of hours.
