I have not been around because I didn't think we could go until next summer at least. Reading made it harder to wait since we hadn't been in a couple of years. Anyways we really need a fix and may try to go down in early October.

Since I have not kept up on the news are there ANY deals or promotions etc to help with the cost?

You might want to check over on the Resort board. There is a code board up at the top to check.

I think the only codes out right now run through September 30th. I haven't seen anything for October, unless you start your trip on the 30th to get the discount into October.
