October discounts (historically speaking)?

Does anyone know if discounts are usually offered in Oct.? We always travel to the world in January and every yr there has been a good discount (free park hopper and WFAM, buy 4 get 3). This yr our trip will most likely be in late Oct. and I was wondering what discounts, if any, I may expect.

Hello - We traveled last year Oct 27-Nov 3 - 2 adults, 2 children over the age of 10. Originally, we received a 40% resort pin by email, but then free dining came out. We were booked at a value, so I decided to give up the pin and get free dining instead. We had a great time, the crowd levels weren't too bad, and the weather was still warm enough to swim. We went in January the year before, and the place was mobbed with Brazilian tour groups. I didn't see any during our October visit, and the Food and Wine festival was going on as well. Bonus!

Thank you! We usually go in January. Our school just announced that the kids will have a long fall break in Oct. this fall so we decided to plan our trip for then. Can't wait!!! I hope ours goes as well as yours did!
A 40% pin would be amazing!!! We are a family of 6 so we are pretty much required to stay in a villa, at least that is the option we choose. Our resort costs are the highest part of our stay so a discount would be fabulous. I'll be hoping for a pin!!
