October DIS meet - 14th/29th

Anyone going in October around these dates? Would love to get together and have a DIS meet. I have never met any of you lovely DIS people, and this would be a great opportunity to get to know some of you.

We will be there 10/12 - 10/21, if you are still up for a DIS meet. We are staying at the Swan, so Epcot activities would be easily doable for us. Any other ideas? Especially involving cocktails? That would be fun!

We will be there on 10/26. Was wondering if anyone else would be up to getting together as a Grand Gathering and doing either of the following that night:

International Dinner and IllumiNations Dessert Reception" -- There's no need to jet around the globe to experience dining around the world. I have my cake tasting in the morning, free in the afternoon, Narcossee's at 6:50pm, then who knows...

On 10/18, we are planning to see Fantasmic, then head back to the Boardwalk area for the evening. We were going to wander around and see the sights, but it would include snacks somewhere and definitely Jellyrolls!

PM me if anyone would like to meet up with us that evening. I would love to do Jellyrolls with a larger group!

Yearbook50, we are going to be at PI on the 16th and can meet up with you at Adventurer's Club. This will be my SO's first visit to WDW since the early 80s when there was only MK to visit. So I am planning to show him all my favorites, including AC.

ILoveEpcot, we would love to meet you and your gang, but we won't be at Epcot that day. Are you going to be there another time during your stay? We will be in WDW from 10/12 - 10/21 and it would be great to meet some other DISers, especially crazy ones....sounds like my kind of fun!

My trip is October 11-20, but I'm going to be hosting family and friend o' family the latter part of the trip. As my Oct 15 will be mostly Nosh Around World Showcase (and maybe the sushi pairing festival event if it works out this year), so I'm mostly free that day. I would enjoy hanging out with the Brits that day.

And for the most part, I'll be at the Adventurers Club every night. Well, with a little bit later on the 16th due to the Halloween party.

We will be at the World October 10 though the 20th. We will be staying at the Beach Club, I think it woud be fun to hook up with fellow Dissers. We would only be able to meet in a place where my two girls would be allowed to go, they are 13 and 9. This year we be joined by my parents. We are looking foward to it.

David Cassidy is on at "Eat to the beat" for 3 nights too. Not quite what I wanted (I wanted Beach Boys) but we miss them by a few days
Would be fun if we could all go to see him together after (or before) a few

16th i'm already planning on being at the Adventurer's Club at 9pm.

At the moment the 17th is winning !! Some have dining plans booked for the 15th and 16th, so we'll see how many we can get together for 17th.

It should be...I'm waiting on hearing back from my coordinator about the times since I am an intimate bride who is upgrading her cake.
