What kind of crowds can we expect for the weekend of October 15? We're having a combination family reunion/80th birthday.

Wish I could tell you, but remember Food and WIne festivile is going on along with MNSSHP. It shouldn't be too bad from what I can tell and have read.

We will be there the 13 -16, I read somewhere that a Tiger Wood Golf event was taking place those days. I am not sure how that effects the crowd. Hoping for not really busy, since this is a short trip for us.

I think that most of those events will keep people grouped in those respective areas (f&W in WS, mnsshp at MK, Funai people at the courses). My plan is to tour around the events.

Wondering what the weather has been like lately? A couple of years ago we were in the world at the end of Oct an it was mid 90's. Hoping it will be a bit more comfortable this time.

We were there a few years ago during the golf tournament and found the crowds to be much heavier than at the end of Oct. which is when we were used to going. Now when we travel in Oct. we always remind each other to CHECK WHEN THE GOLF THING IS! :rotfl:

Hope you have a great trip! We're doing a short trip this month, too, Oct. 7-10. It was supposed to be DH and I, but my grandmother had a stroke and is now unable to watch our kids, so we decided to just drag them along even though we're returning with them Nov. 27-Dec. 4. We just took them in June, too. You can never get too much WDW though.

We went last year from 10/17 to 10/27. The crowds were manageable and the weather was perfect, mid-80's during the day and low 70's at night. We went to F&W during the weekdays and the crowds weren't that bad. We didn't even know there was a golf tournament going on. It didn't seem to effect the parks. We did use fastpass and that helped cut down wait times in the afternoons.

I love this time of year. There are so many events going on. As you can see from my counter below only a few more days to go. :cheer2: :cheer2:
