October crowds?

We are considering planning a trip in October 2012. How are the crowds during the first and second weeks of the month? We just got back from a Memorial Day week trip and I will never go during that time again because of the heat!

October is when we always go...however we go the 3rd week so I am not quite positive how the first two weeks are for crowds that being said..the second week is a holiday week so I would think you will have a little more population. We think the crowds are "normal" in late October there are 12 of us and we don't wait long for rides or transportation. We have gone in September,November and in early March and I like October for weather and crowds the best.

October is my favoite time to go. The weather is starting to cool off. (But it's still Florida, so don't expect a miracle!) Also school is just letting in so there aren't as many people there. It's a really nice time to go, I've realized.

October can be just as hot as May. I've found the crowds to be similar for these 2 months.

It was hot and crowded last year over Columbus Day week.

This year we are going the week earlier. Will probably still be hot, but hope to avoid some crowds. If I would have planned my AP better, I would have gone at the end of the month.
