October convention AABB?

Anyone know what this is? The gal at the hotel just told us there is some huge convention but she didnt know what it is. She thought it was called AABB or something like that. Anyone know what this is? She says October 17-29. Holy Cow! That seems like a LONG TIME!

I had read on a site that there is a 3 day Utah teacher convention, it also mentioned that is closed for 4 days. I will look for exact dates.

Here is what I found on a site: 2007 UEA convention. October 29 to 30 (in Utah). any Utah public schools close so teachers can attend the Utah Education Association convention, which creates a four-day weekend for the students. Expect the resort to be busy that weekend—some claim 'UEA' stands for 'Utah Escapes to Anaheim.' One reader has told us that his Utah school district is closed October 11 – 15th, so crowds may be more dispersed throughout the month than in past years.

I don't know anything about AABB, but there is a conference in the Disneyland Hotel Oct 22 - 26 for software testing. Here is the website if you are interested in going!! http://www.sqe.com/StarWest/ I kind of doubt it will have a big impact on park attendance, but it could impact room availability at the Disneyland Hotel.

For those that are interested you can always check your dates against the Anaheim Convention Centers now not all of these are large events that will effect your stay but some may. I say open the events and look at how much space they are using, that should be a good tell. Also remember that some large events might only effect the hotels, but some might effect the amount of people in the parks in days around the events. But its nice to have some forewarning.
